Pune, July 21: At least five people were injured after a building collapsed near Keshavnagar in Pune’s Mundhwa on Saturday.
So far 8 people have been rescued and one child is still feared trapped inside the building.
The building was reportedly 30 years old and it was served a notice by the municipal corporation.
The rescue operation is underway.
The incident comes nearly four days after two buildings collapsed in Greater Noida’s Shahberi village, which claimed nine lives.
A magisterial probe had been also ordered by the District Magistrate of Gautambuddh Nagar (Noida).
Ther police registered the Cases against two dozen persons and four of the accused, including the builder Ganga Sharan Dwivedi, brokers Dinesh and Sanjeev have been held.
