While “Dhadak” will mark Janhvi’s foray into the Indian film industry, Ishaan is making his acting debut with Iranian filmmaker Majid Majidi’s India-set movie “Beyond The Clouds”.
In one of the posters released, the two actors are seen embracing each other. The background has the sun emitting rays and it dipicts the silhouette of a desert with a camel cart.
Sridevi is excited about her daughter’s debut, as in an interview to news agency IANS, she had said that she is “mentally more prepared than” Janhvi for it.
“She has been watching me, and knows what she is getting into. Nothing is going to be a cakewalk in any profession. So you have to work hard, and there will be challenges. I’m sure she is ready for it,” she had asserted.
The film is slated to be released on July 6 2018.
