MUMBAI, 20 December: A fire has broken out in the basement of the Trident Hotel at Nariman Point in south Mumbai. The fire reportedly started around 11:15 pm on Wednesday in the basement of the 5-star luxury hotel and spread to two showrooms inside.

Four fire engines and four water tankers, along with police teams have rushed to the hotel and are trying to prevent the fire from spreading.
#Breaking | A fire broke out in a showroom located on ground floor of Trident Hotel around 11 pm on Wednesday.
It was doused around midnight with aid of 5 fire tenders. The hotel was not evacuated.

Nobody is trapped in the blaze, which has been declared Level 2.
