Facebook glitch declares many ‘dead’ including Mark Zuckerberg

New Delhi, Nov 12: All just didn’t suddenly die, A short glitch on Friday caused Facebook to switch many profiles, which is meant to preserve someone’s media presence after their death.

This facebook bug led close to million being declared death on their social media profile, including Facebook CEO Mark Zukerberg.

The social media acknowledged the error fixing it saying that there was a ‘terrible error’.

“For a brief period, a message meant for memorialised profiles was mistakenly posted to other accounts,” A Facebook spokesperson told AFP.

Ironically led to flood of users taking to announced that they are still alive.

“The idea that fake news on Facebook, which is a very small amount of the content, influenced the election in any way I think is a pretty crazy idea.

“I do think there is a certain profound lack of empathy in asserting that the only reason someone could have voted the way they did is because they saw some fake news.” Mr Zuckerberg said at a technology conference in California.
