Explosion in London underground train: UK media

London, Sept 15: People suffer facial injuries after a container exploded on a London underground train, UK media reported.

The “explosion” occurred on a Tube train at Parsons Green station in which many passengers have been injured and passengers were seen fleeing in panic.

At least 22 people have been injured in the blast, reported AFP.

Blast at tube station was a detonation of an improvised explosive device, reports Reuters quoting Scotland Yard.

Several people are said to have suffered facial burns after a white container “blew up” towards the rear of the District Line train.

The officers and ambulance staff are on the scene to examine the situation.

The attack is being termed as a terrorist attack as per UK media reports.
