New Delhi, Dec 7: According to a majority of exit polls, the Congress is set to attain victory in Rajasthan, while a close race is predicted in Madhya Pradesh.
In the 200-seat Rajasthan Assembly, as per Times Now-CNX, the Congress is expected to bag 105 seats and 85 for the incumbent BJP, while India Today-Axis has anticipated between 119 and a whopping 141 seats for the Congress, between 55 and 72 for the BJP.
The Republic-CVoter survey is predicting 35 and 43 seats for the BJP and 40 and 50 seats to be claimed by the Congress.
For Madhya Pradesh, the polls have predicted a hung assembly, as according to Times Now-CNX the BJP may get 102-120 seats and the Congress may clinch 104-122, the BSP and others likely to win 1-3 and 3-8 seats respectively.
Meanwhile, Congress is expected to clinch the Chhattisgarh assembly election with a clear majority and oust the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), as per the India Today-My India Axis exit poll results.
Polling in Rajasthan and Telangana ended on Friday. Voting in Madhya Pradesh and Mizoram was held on November 28.
In Chhattisgarh, it took place in two phases on November 12 and 20. The counting of votes is scheduled for December 11.
