Exiled Baloch leader Brahamdagh Bugti applies for asylum in India


June 6 : A Baloch activist has requested India to grant asylum to Brahamdagh Khan Bugti, the founder and leader of Baloch Republican Party.

Bugti has formally applied for asylum in India through Indina embassy in Geneva.

Bugti who is the head of the Baloch nationalist group is currently living in self-exile in Switzerland.

Banuk Zarina Baloch thanked Bollywood actor Anupam Kher for mentioning Balochistan in the movie ‘TheAccidental Prime Minister’.

“It reveals Bollywood Industry has sympathy for us, therefore, we hope you’ll support our leader @BBugti to get him political asylum He requested for to IndiaEmb in Geneva,” she tweeted.
