Jan 1: After Prime Minister Narendra Modi made it clear that an ordinance to build a Ram Temple can be considered only after legal process gets over,Senior RSS leader Bhaiyaji Joshi said that the people of India and those in power (PM Modi) have said that Ram temple should be constructed.
” We’ve have kept forward our demand to make a law in this regard. Every person in our country wants Ram temple constructed. Even those who are in power have said that Ram temple should be constructed,” RSS number 2 Bhaiyyaji said.
On the growing demand for bringing an ordinance to build a Ram temple at the disputed site in Ayodhya, Modi said the party would wait for the judicial process to get over. “After the judicial process is over, whatever will be our responsibility as a government, we are ready to make all efforts,” he said.
The Babri Masjid-Ram Janmabhoomi case is being heard in the Supreme Court even as there has been a clamour for bringing an ordinance to build a Ram Temple at the disputed site in Ayodhya.
Hundreds of religious leaders and seers have threatened the Modi government to bring an ordinance on the issue or face defeat in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections.
The BJP has repeatedly promised to construct Ram Mandir in its manifestoes.
