Entire Opposition will work to remove PM Modi, who is silent on rising prices of fuel : Rahul Gandhi

New Delhi, Sep 10 : Questioning the silence of PM Modi on fuel prices and the Rafale fighter jet deal, Congress president Rahul Gandhi on Monday said that the entire Opposition will work to remove BJP.

” Aaj poora vipaksh yahan ek saath baitha hai. Hum sab mil kar ek saath, BJP ko hatane ka kaam karenge, “Rahul Gandhi said while addressing a protest rally at Ramlila grounds  organised by the Congress and joined by other opposition parties over fuel price hike.

He also said that a united opposition will defeat the BJP in the next Lok Sabha elections.

“Narendra Modi ji is silent, he has not spoken a word on rising prices of fuel, or condition of farmers, neither on atrocities against women, Gandhi said while questioning the silence of PM Modi on fuel prices and the Rafale fighter jet deal.

Gandhi alleged that hatred was being spread and the country being divided under the rule of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Taking a dig at Modi, he said the PM often says that what has happened in the last four years of his rule has not happened in 70 years is actually true.
“Hatred is being spread, one Indian is fighting the other, the country is being divided,” he said.

Former prime minister Manmohan Singh said, “Modi government has done a number of things that were not in the interest of the nation. The time to change this government will come soon.”

Violence is being reported from Pune and Mumbai from Maharashtra, Bihar (where trains were stopped),Gujarat and several other states .While other Opposition parties like DMK, NCP, RJD, JD(S), have extended their support, the Congress has also asked civil society groups and NGOs to join the nationwide protest.
