Telangana, July 31: Amid the ongoing tussle between the Modi government and the Opposition over the final draft of Assam NRC, a BJP Telangana MLA said that Rohingyas and Bangladeshi illegal immigrants should be shot dead and eliminated.
In an effort to make India safe and secure, BJP Telangana MLA Raja Singh has come out with a unique solution, saying “If these Rohingyas and Bangladeshi illegal immigrants do not leave India respectfully, then they should be shot & eliminated. Then only our country will be safe.”

Congress raised the issue of non-inclusion of 40 lakh names in the final draft list of the National Register of Citizens (NRC) in Assam which was published yesterday. Several parties including Trinamool Congress and Samajwadi Party are staging a protest near the Gandhi statue demanding 40 lakh people be included in the final draft.
MoS Kiren Rijiju said, “Jammu and Kashmir has the highest Rohingya population, followed by Telangana. India has always welcomed outsiders. But that doesn’t mean we don’t keep a check. India is not a signatory to the UN Convention on Refugees, yet we accept thousands of them.”
