Dec 8 : Senior Congress leader Kapil Sibal has accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of unleashing vicious vendetta against the Congress after the Enforcement Directorate (ED) raided three properties owned by industrialist Robert Vadra, the brother-in-law of President Rahul Gandhi and his aides.

Sibal has accused the ED of misusing its power at the behest of the Modi government, “There was no FIR, ECIR against Robert Vadra and people of Enforcement Directorate reached his offices without any warrant. When asked to wait by the people in the office to get keys to the office, they broke into the office.””ED officers Sanjay Mishra and Jasbir khichad harassing the employees of Robert Vadra . These officers are doing on the behest of PMO,” the Congress leader added.

“Four employees of Vadra were detained and were beaten. ED officials even forced 4 employees to give signature on blank paper. Other day Modiji was saying that we have played such a game that we have send KartiP Chidambaram to Jail,I want to ask from Modiji how are you going to send him to jail?
The Congress leader alleged that the Enforcement Directorate had a licence to “flout all norms and harass” when its officers raided Vadra’s premises on Friday. He claimed the officers raided the residences of Vadra’s associate, his sister and in-laws without any first information report or search warrant.
