Madurai ,Dec25 : Yoga guru Baba Ramdev, who had supported the BJP’s national election campaign in 2014 and supported Narendra Modi, has said that the existing political situation in the country is so complex that he is not sure whether Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be able to win a second term in office.

He added that it is very difficult to predict who will be the next prime minister of the country. Ramdev said he intends to make India neither a communal country nor an exclusively Hindu nation.

“The political situation (within India) is very difficult; we can’t say who will be the next PM. I’m not focusing on politics; I don’t support or oppose anyone. We don’t aim to make a communal or Hindu India, we want to make a spiritual India and world,” the  yoga guru said.

Ramdev’s statement at this juncture when the Congress under the leadership of its president Rahul Gandhi has captured power in the crucial states of Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Rajasthan.

Rashtriya Lok Samta Party has already quit the National Democratic Alliance while  another Uttar Pradesh ally Apna Dal has sounded off notes of discontent.
