DMK Chief Stalin admitted to Hospital in Chennai


Chennai, Sep 27 : DMK president MK Stalin was admitted to Apollo Hospital in Chennai late Wednesday last night.

65- year old president of Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK), was undergoing treatment of an  infection.

Apollo hospital also released a bulletin on Stalin’s health stating the DMK chief underwent a minor surgical procedure for the removal of a cyst from his right thigh. The statement also said he will be discharged this afternoon.

Stalin felt discomfort in his Alwarpet house around midnight and was suddenly taken to Apollo hospital, said DMK Principal Secretary TR Baalu.

Stalin became the president of DMK on August 28 after the death of his father and DMK supremo Karunanidhi on August 7.
