Despite separatists’ warrant, Kashmiris turn up for army recruitment

Jammu and Kashmir, Sep 22, 2016: Amid the fact that separatist dictators asking the Kashmiri youth not to emerge for the recruitment of Indian Army, the armed forces of India is attracting the youngsters as thousands of anxious young person appeared for a recruitment drive in Anantnag district of Jammu and Kashmir.

Over 2,000 candidates turn up to engaged in the rally to file their application for recruitment in the Indian Army.

One of the candidate, Shabir Ahmad, who appeared for recruitment drive told media that “I would like to express my gratitude to the staff here which efficiently carried out the training programme. I appeal to the misguided youth in Jammu and Kashmir to throw away their guns and stones so that we can fulfill our dreams”

The recruitment rally, which began on Wednesday in South Kashmir and will continue till September 24. The second phase of the drive will be held in North Kashmir from September 29 till October 2.

Recruiting Officer, Brigadier J. S. Samyal said that “Around 2,200 students filed through online and participated in this rally. Our aim here is to provide an opportunity to the youth of Kashmir.”

Despite all the unrest in the Valley, the youth is not leaving any stone unturned to come up from the chaos and to advocate peace in unrest Kashmir.
