Reportedly, a 45 year old senior cashier of State Bank of India died after having a chest-pain at its Ratibad branch of Bhopal on Sunday, police told the media sources.
The senior cashier named, Purshottam Vyas felt chest pain and was a little uncomfortable after 5 PM, following which he was brought to a hospital where he was declared dead. As per police officials he probably has died during the way to hospital.
Police has registered the case and started investigation, police officer C Mewade said while confirming the incident. He further said that Vyas’ body has been sent to Hamadia Hospital for postmortem to find out exact cause of his death.
Also, the banks were open on Sunday as per government’s order following the demonetization of Rs 500 and 1000 currency notes. People queued up outside banks and ATMs across the nation, either to deposit or withdraw the scrapped notes or to exchange them for lower value tender.
Bank employees were seen stressed out and unable to control the chaos and the frustration in people after demonetization move.
