Delhi’s Taimoor Nagar murder case: SHO suspended

New Delhi, Oct 6 : Days after unidentified assailants shot a 34-year-old man to death in Southeast Delhi’s Taimoor Nagar area, Departmental enquiry has been initiated in which the then SHO New Friends Colony Inspector Sushil Kumar and Division Officer SI Rajender suspended for misconduct and negligence.

The police has arrested three men in connection with the crime and suspended concerned beat officers HC Ajay, Ct Surender and Ct Hari Chand.

According to information, two of the detained men have confessed to their involvement in the murder of Rupesh Kumar Basoya, who was shot dead outside his own house in front of his two minor children.

The arrested trio Akash, Suraj, and Ajay committed a murder, four armed robberies and two vehicle thefts in the last four days, the police said.
