New Delhi, Aug 30: Delhiite woke up with a pleasant and cloudy Tuesday morning in National Capital with the minimum temperature recorded at 25 degrees Celsius, a notch below the season’s average so far.
“The sky will be generally cloudy throughout the day. Rains and thundershower are likely to occur in several areas,” said an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
As per Met department, the maximum temperature is likely to reach 34 degrees Celsius.
The National Capital, which was snarling in traffic after heavy water logging on Monday, received 21.8 mm rainfall, with maximum rainfall in the Ridge area at 43.2 mm.
The humidity at 8.30 a.m. was recorded at 85 per cent.
Monday’s maximum temperature recorded at 34.7 degree Celsius while the minimum temperature was recorded at 26.5 degrees Celsius, at the season’s average.
