New Delhi, Sep 2: Delhiite woke up with a pleasant and cloudy Friday morning with the minimum temperature recorded at 25.5 degrees Celsius, a notch below the season’s average so far.
“The sky will remain generally cloudy throughout the day. Light rains or drizzling is likely to occur in some areas,” said an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
As per Met official, the maximum temperature is likely to reach around 33 degrees Celsius.
The National Capital on Thursday received an average of 5.9mm rainfall, with maximum rainfall in the Palam area at 18.9 mm.
The humidity at 8.30 a.m. was recorded at 86 per cent.
Thursday’s maximum temperature recorded at 30.4 degree Celsius, four notches below the season’s average while the minimum temperature was recorded at 25.2 degrees Celsius, a notch below the season’s average.
