Delhi: Two killed as DTC bus rams into vehicles at Azadpur


New Delhi, May 24, 2017: In a tragic incident, at least two persons were killed and a few others were injured when a low-floor DTC bus lost control and rammed a group of public transport vehicles at Azadpur in north Delhi on Wednesday.

The injured persons were rushed to a hospital. The police are awaiting a report on their condition.

A senior police officer said, “The dead have been identified as 15-year-old Harsh and 45-year-old Devender. The other injured are expected to survive.” There was no clarity on the exact number of injured persons.

According to the initial reports, the bus swerved towards the left, ramming two e-rickshaws and one auto. These three vehicles had a few passengers in them at the time of the accident.
