Delhi Students go for langars amidst cash crunch


Delhi, 13 Dec: Nearly a month after demonetisation, amidst cash crunch in Delhi the students were seen opting for langars instead of their favourite food in a bid to save every penny they have.

The Delhi govt announced to start langars at major places in Delhi to serve food to those who lost livelihood due to demonetisation.

Gurudwara authorities are also extending support by providing accommodations and food to a lot of students adjoining the nearby colleges afte November 8 announcement of Prime Minister scrapping old notes of Rs 500 and Rs 1000.

Students are also having a having a hard time as landlords are demanding their rents in cash only.
