New Delhi, May 4: If we talk about Delhi which is the national capital but the city leaves no chance to grab space in headlines for the rape incidents.
One more time, a shocking incident has spread safety concerns of girls and minors after a 3-year-old brutally raped by her neighbour in Delhi’s Anand Parbat area.
The minor girl is said to be in a critical state who was raped following her abduction.
However, Police have arrested the accused Vijay, 22 who is a daily wage labourer hours after the crime.
According to an officer, he whisked the child away while she was playing and took her to his home on Wednesday morning.
The incident came to light after parents, also daily wagers started searching for their child. They were told by the neighbours that she was last seen with Vijay.

“When the parents reached Vijay’s house, also in the same neighbourhood, they found the girl bleeding profusely and in an unconscious state,” the officer said.

“She was immediately taken to Lady Hardinge Hospital, where she was operated twice on Wednesday.”
Her condition was “still critical as the bleeding hasn’t stopped yet”, the officer added.
The accused was arrested on Wednesday evening from his friend’s house.
A case has been registered under the Protection of Children against Sexual Offence.
Taking a look at the rape incidents of year 2017 that took place in Delhi, only five months have been passed and cases are rising swiftly.
Earlier this year on March 24, a 10-year-old girl was allegedly raped by her neighbour in east Delhi’s Gandhi Nagar.
On March 13, A six-year-old girl was allegedly kidnapped and raped by an unidentified man in Govindpuri area. The man later left her outside her home and fled.
On March 14, 2017, A four-and-a-half-year-old girl was raped allegedly by her neighbour in an under-construction building in south Delhi’s Neb Sarai.
On Feb 25, a four-year-old girl was allegedly raped and murdered by her 16-year-old neighbour in outer Delhi’s Narela.
This is high time for the Delhi government to take some strong actions against these horrifying crimes that are putting girl’s life and future at stake.
