New Delhi, Feb 2: Delhi Police granted permission to raise ‘Desh ke gaddaron ko, goli maaro saalon ko’ slogan!

The Delhi Police granted permission to activist Saket Gokhale to raise the slogan “desh ke gaddaron ko, goli maaro saalon ko (shoot the traitors)”.

This shows that Delhi Police considers it as ‘okay’ that persons in authority or fundamentalists who instigate people to shoot their fellow citizens who are peacefully protesting ?

The permission was granted by Parliament Street police station of Delhi police.

He has asked for the permission for a peaceful protest to be carried at Jantar Mantar on
February 2 and claimed that slogan “Desh ke gaddaron ko, goli maaro saalon ko” will be raised.
When he told the police that the protest did not have anything to do with the Citizenship amendment Act, he was given permission to hold the protest.

The activist posted a copy of the letter stamped by Delhi Police authorities.

This development reveals the mindset and direction of the police after the Jamia firing incident where Jewar resident Rambhakt Gopal shot at student Shadab in clear view of policemen who were just watching the whole drama and did nothing to prevent the firing.
