July 3, New Delhi : Delhi High court today dismissed Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh appeal to nullify money laundering case against him.
In September 2015 a case was filed under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) against Virbhadra Singh and his wife Pratibha Singh by the Electoral Directorate following the CBI complaint. The probe agency attached assets worth about Rs 14 crore in this case.
Earlier, the ED described Singh’s plea for quashing of the case proceedings as “premature”.
The ED has summoned Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister, his wife Pratibha Singh and son Vikramaditya Singh for interrogation over this.
