New Delhi, July 29 :A building in J-block of Kalkaji was evacuated by South Delhi Municipal Corporation after residents complained about tilts in it due to the heavy rains that have wreaked havoc over the national capital resulting in massive traffic chaos and waterlogging in many parts of the national capital.
Moreover, Yamuna river has breached its banks and water levels are likely to increase further five lakh cusecs of water released by the Hathni Kund Barrage will reach Delhi.The Delhi government will be making public announcement on Monday to spread awareness among the people about the danger level mark. The decision was taken in a high-level meeting called by Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal to check on the preventive measures to be taken in the present situation

Ajay Kumar,ADM of East Delhi said, “Danger level of Yamuna is 204.83 & current water level is 205.5 & is still rising & will continue to rise throughout the night. We’re evacuating people & have also put relief camps which have all facilities. Till now, I think situation is under control.”
