Delhi Air-Hostess Suicide Case: HC extends interim protection of in-laws till Sept 17

New Delhi, Aug 2: The Delhi High Court on Thursday extended the interim protection from the arrest of in-laws of an air hostess who allegedly committed suicide in Panchsheel Park, till 17th September.

The deceased in-laws were granted interim protection from the arrest last week.

The development comes after, the Saket court on July 20, rejected the anticipatory bail plea filed by the parents of Mayank Singhvi, the husband of the air hostess.

Singhvi was held on July 16 and sent to a 14-day judicial custody.

The deceased’s kin has alleged that it was a case of murder even as cops registered a suicide case on July 15.

The 39-year-old had allegedly fallen off the terrace of her home in Hauz Khas’s Panchsheel Park on July 13.
