New Delhi, Sep 28: Several defence officials have expressed displeasure over the central government’s decision to celebrate the second anniversary of surgical strikes against Pakistan across the country.
Speaking Times of India, One of the senior officers said “Video clips of the surgical strikes have been leaked…some members of the team, even if they were masked, have appeared on television channels. Covert operations should remain just that, covert,”.
“There was no Parakram Parv last year. The defence ministry this year has suddenly directed the armed forces to mark the anniversary in a major way… in 51 cities”, stated another one.
