New Delhi, Feb 11: Senior Congress leader Kapil Sibal lambasted at the Narendra Modi government for the inaction against the recent attack on students in colleges and prestigious JNU in Delhi.

On the day when the results of Delhi Assembly polls are to be announced, former Union minister tweeted about the new culture that has been brought by the BJP, “Decimation of Universities ( The new culture ) JNU : Masked right wingers perpetrated violence Jamia : Entered the library and vandalised”.

He then also pointed towards the recent sexual assault on girls in Gargi college and the inaction by the authorities, Kapil Sibal said, “spreading panic Gargi College : Entered by breaching walls and molested women We are still waiting for authorities to act”.

Some students has alleged that the men were pro-CAA protestors.

After complaints of mass molestation and abuse inside a fest at Delhi’s University’s all-girls Gargi College, students on Monday protested against the administration and demanded a full and impartial inquiry into the incident. Students have also called for the resignation of the college Principal as well as of the head of the Student Union for the delay in action against the perpetrators.

Several students allege that college authorities or union bodies try to intervene much.
