Day 4th Parliament: Ahmed Patel claims Gujarat’s Dalit youth thrashing ‘shameful’

After facing uproars in Parliament over BJP’s UP vice-president Dayashankar Singh’s derogatory remark on BSP supremo Mayawati, Kashmir Unrest and Gujarat’s Dalit youth killing, The fourth day of Monsoon Session of Parliament is all set to again discuss the recent incidents of ‘atrocities against Dalits in the country’ as the discussion is scheduled to take place at 2 pm in the Rajya Sabha.

Home Minister Rajnath Singh said on Kashmir:

  • Will constitute an expert committee to review the use of pellet guns for crowd control.
  • The Government has directed security personnel to exercise maximum restrain while dealing with protesters in Kashmir.
  • We all need to work together to improve the situation in Kashmir.
  • The Kashmir issue needs to be dealt with collectively. Everyone needs to partake in the responsibility of making the situation better, he also added.

In Lok Sabha, Home Minister Rajnath Singh said on Pakistan:
