Dawood Ibrahim aide Jabir Motiwala appeared before London Court

London, Aug 28: Key Dawood Ibrahim aide Jabir Motiwala on Tuesday appeared before Westminster Magistrate’s Court via video link in London. 

During the hearing, Motiwala gave his name as Jabir Sassiq. According to the reports, no bail application was made today.

The court scheduled September 25 for the next hearing.

Earlier last week, the court rejected the bail plea of underworld don’s key aide.

Motiwala was arrested by the United Kingdom security agencies from a hotel in London on August 19.

Following this, he was produced before the court on August 21.

Motiwala was reportedly had his name changed to ‘Jabir Siddiq’ on the passport.

Jabir, who is a Pakistani national, holds a ten-year visa to the UK and shares a common financial interest with Dawood’s family including his wife Mahajabeen, son Moeen Nawaz and daughters Mahrookh, Mehreen and his sons-in-law, Junaid (son of former Pak Cricketer Javed Miandad) and Aungazeb.

Motiwala was held on a US warrant on the charges of money laundering and trafficking narcotics.
