CPI-M to hold protests over Saharanpur Caste Clash in MP


Bhopal, May 26 : The Communist Party of India – Marxist (CPI-M) on Friday said it will stage protest across  Madhya Pradesh on May 29  against the atrocities towards Dalit community in the Saharanpur communal clash.

Badal Saroj, Madhya Pradesh state unit secretary of CPI-M , said that since  Yogi Adityanath has become the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh atrocities and violence against the Dalits have increased.

Saroj also alleged the Hindu Vahini, a right-wing group of Adityanath, was following in the footsteps of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) in order to run the nation “based on Manusmriti”.

The state-wide protests on Monday demanding fair proceedings in crimes against dalits, protection for the weaker sections, damages to the victims of such attacks and much more.
