Patna, Oct 6: The CPI-M will launch nationwide protests against the ruling BJP on October 9 to reveal the latter’s real motive behind political violence in CPI-M-ruled Kerala, party leader Sitaram Yechuri said on Friday.
“The CPI-M will protest across the country against the BJP to expose its violence agenda in Kerala. We will fight the BJP with the support of people democratically,” Yechuri told the media here.
He said the BJP had been attempting to crate communal polarisation in Kerala like in West Bengal.
“BJP President Amit Shah launched his march in Kerala early this week to play communal politics but people understand the BJP well.”
Hitting out at Prime Minister Narender Modi-led central government, Yechury said they are “failure on all fronts”.
“The government has put the country in trouble by implementing anti-people policies such as note ban and GST.”
Yechuri said the ruling government neither generated jobs nor controlled price hike. “We will not allow the BJP to succeed in its communal agenda in Kerala”.
