New Delhi, Aug 20: The Patiala House Court on Monday allowed Congress leader Shashi Tharoor to visit abroad.
Tharoor had moved an application seeking to visit the family of former United Nations Secretary-General Kofi Annan, who was passed away recently, abroad.
The Former UN Secretary-General and Nobel Prize Laureate took his last breath on Saturday at the age of 80 following a short illness.
Besides this, Thiruvananthapuram MP will also visit UN Headquarters in Geneva to seek aid for Kerala Floods.
Earlier this month also, he was granted permission to go abroad on a surety of Rs 2 lakh before leaving the country.
Tharur has been facing trial in Sunanda Pushkar death case.
