Counter-Intelligence seized 12 lakh in new currency, 600 gm heroin


Dec 18: The counter-intelligence unit on Sunday from Amritsar seized Rs 12 lakh in the new currency and 3 lakhs in old currency with 600 grams of heroin.


IG Counter Intelligence MF Farooqui commented that “We will investigate further on the possibility of these people being linked to Pakistan.”

In Delhi’s IGI airport, 1.170 kg gold worth Rs 32 lakh and Rs 2.77 lakh cash in old demonetized notes seized from a passenger. The passenger was arrested.

In Surat, according to sources, IT raids at Surat’s Financer Kishore Bhajiawala’s premises continues: Over 250 property docs, 2 KG gold and 40-50 kg silver seized.

In Madhya Pradesh, Police arrested 2 people in Shahdol for printing fake Rs 2000 new currency notes. Printer and scanner seized. An enquiry is underway.


In Bengaluru, Driver of ATM van fled away with cash van last night. Police recovered van & the total amount. The driver is absconding and the investigation is underway.
