Congress questions PM Modi’s silence 10 crore job promise

New Delhi, Jan 12: The Congress on Saturday questioned Prime Minister Narendra’s silence over his promise to provide 10 crore jobs made during made during 2014 elections.

Addressing a press conference in the national capital, Senior Congress leader Manish Tewari said “When PM Modi describes the history, we hope that he does it with facts. But Modi and BJP’s belief is legacy of India began from 2014”.

In reference to the Prime Minister’s speech at Bharati Janta Party council meeting, Why didn’t PM Modi comment on the promise of 10 crore jobs he had made during 2014 elections, he asked.

“Today is the first time in last 55 months, Mr. Modi again mentioned the phrase ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas’, “

Tewari further said “the Prime Minister claims that Demonetisation was their biggest achievement, and yet, in his 80 minute speech, he doesn’t mention it even once”.

The former union minister also cornered PM Modi over agrarian crises. He stated “the nation wants to hear from PM Modi on why farmers are protesting today”.

Recating to Union Defence Minsiter Nirmala Sitharam claims that there was no terrorist attack under Modi rule, Tewari asked “What about Uri, Gurdaspur, Pathankot and many other terrorist attacks after 2014.
