New Delhi, April 29: The Congress on Monday moved the Supreme Court against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP president Amit Shah for alleged poll code violations.

The petition, filed by Congress MP, Sushmita Dev, sought urgent and necessary directions to the Election Commission of India to take a decision on the complaints filed against PM Modi and Shah.

The Congress claimed that Modi and Shah have used military operations as propaganda during the election campaign but the poll panel did not act against them despite various complaints.

The Apex Court has agreed to hear the plea on Tuesday ( April 30, 2019).
