Congress hits back at PM Modi, says Speak for 15 minutes without lying

New Delhi, May 1: The Congress on Tuesday hit back at Prime Minister Narendra Modi for challenging its party President Rahul Gandhi, saying speak for 15 minutes without lying.

Mahila Congress National President and MP, Sushmita Dev dared PM Modi to speak for 15 minutes without lying.

Launching a scathing attack, Dev stated the Prime Minister has no answer on issues related to BJP President Amit Shah’s son Jay Shah, Rafael Deal and Piyush Goyal.

Earlier in a day, Modi attacked Gandhi on his challenge to face him in Parliament and sought to turn the tables by asking him to speak for 15 minutes on the achievements of the government in Karnataka without reading from a piece of paper.

While addressing his first election rally for the May 12 Assembly polls, PM said “the Congress President had challenged me that if he speaks for 15 minutes in Parliament, I will not be able to take it. I ask him (Gandhi) to talk about the achievements of Congress government in Karnataka, without a paper in your hand.”

Modi’s attack came in the wake of Congress President’s challenge that if he was allowed to speak for 15 minutes in Parliament, Modi would not be able to withstand it.
