Cong asks RJD to walk out from alliance

Congress hits RJD

The Congress on Tuesday stood behind the Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and told the Rashtriya Janata Dal to walk out of the state government if they are not comfortable. The statement came after RJD made a derogatory remake on Kumar.

You say there is rock solid unity in the coalition and yet your leaders pass snide comments on the mukhiya (chief) of the coalition government,” state Congress chief and Bihar minister Ashok Choudhary said while reacting sharply to the snide comments on Nitish some RJD leaders.

There has been a secular alliance between RJD and JD(U), Congress has been the third alliance and says that if they are not comfortable in the three-way alliance they can walk out of the coalition.

The controversy came to light when the RJD legislator Mohammad Shahabuddin got the bail from jail and said that Lalu Prasad was “the tallest leader” and said that Kumar became the chief minister because of circumstances.
