College professor shot dead in Bihar’s Nalanda, Probe On

Patna, Oct 28 :A college professor  was shot dead by unidentified assailants on Sunday in Bihar’s Nalanda district.

Arvind Kumar, a professor at the PMS college was shot dead by unidentified assailants in Nalanda, early morning , police said.

“Body has been sent for postmortem and  investigation is underway, ” Police official added.

“Arvind Kumar, a professor at the PMS college, was shot dead near Elite hotel in Bhagan Bigha area by unidentified assailants when he was on a morning walk,” a district police official said.

The police have lodged a case and started a probe.

Pairu Mahto Somari College Paharpura, Bihar Sharif, Nalanda, a permanent affiliated unit of Magadh University, Bodh Gaya, was established in the year 1978. It is one of the famous multi faculty college located at Bihar Sharif and imparting degree level along with Intermediate teachings in almost all subjects of Arts, Science and Commerce.
