Cold wave continues in Jammu & Kashmir

Jammu/Srinagar, Dec 6: Jammu city and Leh town witnessed the coldest night of the season till the date on Wednesday even as the lowest temperatures throughout the Valley remained below freezing point.

The weather office showcased that the present cold wave conditions will continue in Jammu and Kashmir till Friday.

Jammu city recorded 6.4, meanwhile Leh recorded a negative 13.6 degrees Celsius.

Srinagar was at minus 3.3, on other hand in Pahalgam it was minus two  and minus 3.8 in Gulmarg, a Met Department official told news agency IANS.

Mata Vaishno Devi base camp town of Katra recorded eight degrees Celsius, while Batote was at 4.9, Bannihal 1.4, Bhaderwah 3.5 and Udhampur 2.4.
