New Delhi, Jan 29: At least 16 Delhi-bound trains were delayed on Tuesday morning due to fog as the Delhiites witnessed a cold morning with the minimum temperature recorded at 5.4 degrees Celsius.
“There was shallow fog in the morning and there will be haze throughout the day,” news agency IANS quoted an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official as saying.
The maximum temperature is likely to hover around 19 degrees Celsius.
At 8.30 a.m., humidity was recorded at 91 per cent while visibility was at 1,000 metres.
Monday’s maximum and minimum temperature was recorded four notches below the average at 18.9 degrees Celsius and 5.5 degrees Celsius, respectively.
