New Delhi, Sep 7: Fugitive Diamantaire Mehul Choksi has reportedly appealed to Interpol against red corner notice.
Choksi’s appeal against red corner notice has been opposed by the Indian investigation agencies.
The Interpol committee in Lyon, France will decide on the red corner notice against in October.

This comes a day after, the Interpol issued a Red Corner notice against Mihir Rashmi Bhansali, a director in US-based Nirav Modi company, Firestar Diamond.
Both the Enforcement Directorate (ED) and the Central Burau of Investigation seeking a Red Corner Notice from the Interpol against Choksi in connection with the PNB Scam.
Choksi had taken an oath of citizenship in Antigua and is reportedly hiding in the Caribbean country.
The government moved an extradition request to Antigua to bring him back to India.
