China seeks permission from India to see off Rahul Gandhi

New Delhi, Aug 31: Chinese Embassy in India has sought permission from Indian Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) for a temporary pass for its Counsellor to see off Congress President Rahul Gandhi.

“Chinese Embassy in India had sought permission from MEA for a temporary pass for entry into IGI Airport for Zhou Yuyun(Counsellor of China Embassy) to see off Rahul Gandhi”, ANI reported citing Sources.

Gandhi is on a 12-day pilgrimage to Kailash Mansarovar via China.

The Congress President is anticipated to cover a distance of 60 kilometres on foot.
