The wait of students who are planning to become the engineers is finally over, the results of the Indian Institute of Technology-Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) advanced exams 2016 have been declared on the official website www. jeeadv.ac.in.
As per the reports, Jaipur’s Aman Bansal is top scorer and the second rank was secured by Bhavesh Kumar from Haryana, while Kunal Goyal of Jaipur took the third rank.
The exam was organised by IIT Guwahati in collaboration with the Joint Admission Board 2016 across various centres throughout the country for admission to engineering courses.
As many as 1,98,228 candidates had cleared the JEE (Main) examination which was held both online and offline in 132 cities.
IIT Guwahati has said that getting a rank in JEE Advanced 2016 will not ensure admission to IITs or ISM, adding, rank lists will be prepared based on the aggregate marks in JEE (Advanced) 2016.
After the release of the results, the All India Ranks of successful candidates will be made available on the website, although the candidates will not receive personalized rank cards.
