Charred body of call centre’s woman employee found in Hyderabad


Hyderabad, Feb 16: A call centre’s woman employee’s body was found in such a heart-wrenching condition in Hyderabad raising questions of women safety all around.

The charred body of a 25-year-old woman employee was found in Hyderabad on Thursday, police said.

The deceased identified as Sunita., a resident of Secunderabad, was working a tele-caller in a call centre.

Her body was discovered in Madhapur area of Hyderabad.

Meanwhile, Police suspect the woman was raped and murdered before the body was set afire.

The body has been sent for post-mortem.

Sunita’s family members informed police that she had left for office on Wednesday morning. But when she did not return back to home in the evening, they called her office but learnt that she did not turn up.

Police have started investigations in the case and formed special teams.

CCTV footage of the railway station and surrounding areas is being screened to get some evidence.

Recently, an Infosys worker was strangulated to death by the security guard in Bengaluru.
