Burhan Wani’s father doesn’t want bloodshed on his son’s death anniversary

Father of Burhan wani appealed for peace and harmony in the valley on his son’s death anniversary. Muzaffar Ahmad Wani in a video message said “I don’t want any untoward incident or killing. I only want peace and harmony.”

To ensure safety and peace curfew has been imposed in many places in the Kashmir Valley. Curfew has been imposed in Tral town of Pulwama district which is the native town of Burhan wani, Anantnag, Shopian, Kulgam, Baramulla, Sopore and some among other towns. According to some reports, the Hurriyat leaders and Hizbul Supreme has called for a complete shutdown in the valley.

Burhan Wani was the poster boy of Hijbul Mujhahideen in Kashmir and he was gunned down in an encounter in Anantnag district of Jammu and Kashmir on July 8, 2016.
