New Delhi, March 23: After witnessing pandemonium for 14 consecutive days in the second part of the Budget Session, both the houses again failed to hold any discussion on Friday,

The upper house adjourned until March 26, 11 am.

Meanwhile, the proceedings of Lok Sabha first halted till noon.

Later, following the ruckus speaker Sumitra Mahajan adjourned the house till Tuesday, March 27, 11 am.

On the other hand, Congress leaders stage protest outside Parliament, demand government file review petition against SC ruling on SC/ST act; raise slogans of, ‘Daliton ke samman mein, Rahul Gandhi maidan mein.’

In the meantime, YSR Congress Party demonstrated near Gandhi Statue demanding special status for Andhra Pradesh.

TDP MP Naramalli Sivaprasad dressed up as a cattle herder to protest over demand of special status for Andhra Pradesh and other MPs also staged protest in Parliament premises. Sivaprasad had also dressed up as women and a schoolboy among others.

Speaking to media outside Parliament, Congress MP said, “last evening three of our MPs from Punjab have submitted a privilege motion to Rajya Sabha Secy-General, we stated that for 4-years the country, the House & families of 39 victims (killed in Mosul) were misled & that govt didn’t take it seriously as these were poor people.
