Budget session: Congress to raise national security issue in Parliament

New Delhi, March 9: The second leg of budget session beginning from Thursday is going to be stormy. Congress has given adjournment motion notice in Lok Sabha on ‘hatred generating for Indians in USA.

Following yesterday’s anti-terror operation in Lucknow with an ISIS suspect, Congress has said that that it will corner Central government national security issue, besides other burning issues.

“Congress will play the role of the Opposition in Parliament and we would be co-operating and co-coordinating with other opposition political parties. There are number of issues which are going to be raised by us including question of security threat that have emerged. It is very surprising that the situation in Kashmir remains volatile,” Om Prakash Mishra said in Kolkata.

Next, Mishra pointed out the issue of the forcing Aadhar card on millions of school children by the central government. He added this will deny and deprive many kids of mid-day meal.

India’s position in the international sphere has neither progressed nor have we been able to achieve any significant diplomatic victories that we were looking for. Our relations with Pakistan remain in limbo. These are some of the issues that will come up,” he said.
