Lucknow, Feb 22: Union minister Uma Bharti said that BSP-SP alliance will benefit the Bharatiya Janata party in the upcoming 2019 Lok Sabha polls in Uttar Pradesh but gave an offer to Mayawati that she can call her “whenever SP attacks her.”

“Gathbandhan between BSP and SP is going to benefit us. BSP voter will not vote for SP and SP voter will not vote for BSP.All those who are against SP or BSP, will vote for us. I’m only worried about behenji (Mayawati).I offer her to call me whenever SP attacks her,” Bharti said.

Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) supremo Mayawati and Samajwadi Party (SP) chief Akhilesh Yadav have decided that SP will contest on 37 seats while BSP will fight on 38 seats in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections 2019.

SP will field its candidate from Gorakhpur, which is the stronghold of Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath, and Varanasi, which is PM Narendra Modi’s constituency.
