Srinagar, Feb 12 : The border security force (BSF) and the Pakistan Rangers on Tuesday held sector commander level meet on International Border in Suchetgarh area of Jammu.
They discussed various issues including firing on IB, presence of suspects in border areas and issues related to border management.
The meeting took place after Pakistani troops on Monday targeted forward posts and villages along the Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir.
The Indian side retaliated, leading to exchange of firing, which continued for more than an hour. The Indian side gave very effective response to the Pakistani troops.
