Shatrughan Sinha, continuing the of series of jibes on BJP said that the popularity of some particular figures in the party has diminished the stature of ministers. Known for his rebellious nature, Shatrughan Sinha said,” that the government is a “one-man show and the party a two-man army.”
Sinha was addressing a press conference after participating in a protest launched by senior BJP leader Yashwant Sinha protesting against the displacement of farmers due to the construction of a power plant.
When Sinha was asked whether BJP has become a “two-man army”, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and party chief Amit Shah calling the shots, he said, “Not only us. You and many others feel that a ‘one-man show and a two-man army’ is at work. We (the party and the government) should be taking collective decisions.”
The leader said that 80 percent of the union ministers are unknown to the public and even if they know them, they might find these ministers worthless.
